When i did the equation i got 1.00093516981693. I don't think the answer makes sense because it is to low it should be a little bit higher because it wouldn't be so little after a year. So than i took out the i Pad the bike and the dog food and i got 1.15758928175429 which makes a lot more sense to me.
Actually the answer should have been 1.0094 - what is this as a percentage? Jacob, to show that you are a good communicator in mathematics, you need to explain more carefully how and why you perform calculations and arrive at conclusions. It is also good for your reflection in mathematics.
